What sockets does the MG MG4 carry in the front?

USB-A and USB-C standard on every trim from the centre console; a further USB-A/USB-C pair on the rear of the console. A 12V-to-USB-C PD charger tops up devices the factory ports cannot power fast.

Do I need USB-C PD or is USB-A enough?

USB-A tops out at 12 to 18 W over Quick Charge 3.0. USB-C Power Delivery (PD) supports up to 100 W and is required for laptop-class charging and full-speed iPad or iPhone charging. For any device sold in the last three years, USB-C PD is the standard.

Does the MG MG4 have factory wireless charging?

On some higher EV trims, yes; on entry EV trims the factory USB-C is fast enough not to need a Qi pad.

Do rear passengers get charging?

On higher trims, yes - a rear USB-C pair. On entry trims, only the driver and front passenger have ports.

One thing many buyers miss

A 100 W charger with a 60 W cable delivers 60 W. The USB-C cable is part of the spec - a decent PD-rated cable (with an E-marker chip inside the plug shell) is what lets the full wattage reach the phone. A cheap noodle cable throttles the whole chain.
