Do the Q3 SUV and Sportback share floor mats?
Yes. The Sportback trades ~20 mm of rear headroom for its coupe roofline but the floor pan, seat rails and footwell dimensions are identical. Any mat set listed for either body fits the other.
Are floor liners a safety issue on the Q3?
Only if they sit unclipped. The Q3’s twist-lock posts hold correctly-sized liners firmly; a universal mat left loose on top of the factory carpet can creep under the brake pedal. Remove the factory carpet mat before fitting an all-weather liner.
