The Mk5 Sportage (NQ5, 2021-onwards) has a curved twin-screen dashboard - infotainment and driver display fused behind one glass panel on GT-Line and above. That dominates the top-of-dash zone; adhesive mounts placed above the screen line sit awkwardly, so mount placement shifts to the vents or the lower centre stack.

Unusually, the Sportage’s centre stack below the screen uses a switchable touch panel that toggles between climate and infotainment shortcuts. Adhesive mounts placed there can trigger the touch controls accidentally - stay above the switchable zone, closer to the screen bezel, or use a vent clip instead.

Vent slats are horizontal on the centre vents. Universal vent clips must be horizontal-slat-compatible; slim-profile clips work better with the Sportage’s shallow vent depth. Factory wireless charging is standard on GT-Line and above; a MagSafe mount with a Qi coil is a straightforward combination.
