Are side airbags fitted to every Kia EV6 trim?

Yes. Front-seat side airbags are standard across every UK trim, so airbag-compatible cover seams (with breakaway thread) are non-negotiable. Any listing that does not explicitly say ‘airbag compatible’ should be walked away from.

Do sport-seat trims accept universal covers?

GT-Line and GT-Line S add sport-style seats with integrated headrests; the EV6 GT (585 hp) fits heavily bolstered bucket seats that trap universal covers. A trim-specific cover cut (or a passenger-only fit if only the driver has the sport seat) is the safe route.

Do rear covers ship with front covers?

Most complete sets include front pair, headrest sleeves and a one-piece rear bench cover. The Kia EV6’s 60/40 split-folding rear bench (very flat cabin floor thanks to the E-GMP skateboard) means the rear cover has to allow the split-fold - a one-piece cover with a hidden zip along the split line is the usual solution.

Do covers hide integrated seat heaters or ventilated seats?

A thick neoprene cover reduces heater output noticeably and blocks ventilated seat airflow entirely. If the Kia EV6 has factory ventilated seats (higher trims), stick to perforated leatherette or a mesh cover.

One thing many buyers miss

Rear headrest posts are shared across almost every trim, but the front seat bolster width shifts on sport trims. A cover that fits Sport trim front seats may not stretch over the deeper bolsters of the Kia’s hot version, and vice-versa. Buy for the seat in the car, not the trim badge above the door.
