The Mk3 Kuga’s most unusual cabin feature is a rear bench that slides 150 mm fore-aft - the trim on the rear footwell moves with the seat, so a rear liner needs a raised front kick-panel that follows the seat lip in both positions. Single-plane rear liners cut to only one seat position leave a visible gap in the other.

The PHEV changes what happens under the boot floor, not what happens in the cabin: the traction battery packs under the rear bench and boot area, dropping boot volume from 580 L to 411 L, but the passenger-cabin footwells are the same across mild-hybrid, full-hybrid and PHEV trims. Front mats fit any Kuga Mk3 with no PHEV-specific variant.

Trim-wise, ST-Line and Vignale add different pedal covers and sports seats, but neither changes the floor. What does vary is whether your car has a factory carpet mat set already fitted; ST-Line X and Vignale ship with premium tailored carpet, so if you buy TPE liners, remove the factory carpet mat first or the liner sits unclipped and can creep toward the pedals.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need different mats for a PHEV Kuga versus a hybrid?

Cabin mats are the same. Boot liners differ because the PHEV boot is smaller and shallower, but the front and rear footwells are shared across the range.

Does the 2024 facelift Kuga need updated mats?

No. The facelift changed the nose, infotainment and dashboard trim, but the floor pan, seat mounts and retention hooks all carry over from the pre-facelift 2019-2023 cars. Any current Mk3 Kuga mat set fits.
