Do the Nissan Leaf front and rear mats share retention with the previous generation?

As an EV on a dedicated skateboard platform, the cabin floor sits flat over the battery, so front and rear footwell mats are the same shape across the whole trim range. Universal mats sized to an older shell overhang the driver footwell and creep towards the pedals.

Is TPE or carpet the right pick for a UK winter?

Moulded TPE with a raised lip channels salt water and grit; carpet absorbs it. For year-round UK use a TPE liner is the safer buy. Keep carpet Premium mats for dry summer weeks.

Do sport-trim seats change what mat fits?

No dedicated sport-seat trim on the Mk2 Leaf; standard front seats accept universal covers cleanly. The floor and its retention are unchanged by seat trim - only the seat rails move, and a full-coverage rear liner may need a light trim at its front edge.

Are boot liners considered with these mats?

No - the boot is a separate purchase and its floor sits differently. Match the boot organiser or liner to the Nissan Leaf’s boot litres separately: 435 L behind rear seats (larger than a pre-Highland Tesla Model 3’s rear boot); up to 1176 L seats folded.
