Fitment nuance per vehicle

Nissan Leaf

The Mk2 Leaf still runs a separate 12V accessory battery alongside its traction pack, so a compact jump pack in the boot remains useful if the 12V flattens after the car sits unused. There is no frunk; the Type 2 (and CHAdeMO) charging cables live in a bag under the boot floor, so false-floor accessories that sit atop the standard boot floor block cable access. Nissan's electronics are only mildly CANbus-sensitive - straight LED interior swaps typically work. The Leaf's boot floor is not height-adjustable, so accessories designed around two-level VW-group floors do not translate.

Volkswagen ID.3

The ID.3 has no frunk (front cargo bay); the Type 2 charging cable lives in a bag under the boot floor - false-floor accessories that sit atop the standard boot floor block cable access. As with the ID.4, pre-2024 cars used unlit capacitive steering-wheel touch pads; universal steering-wheel covers with raised stitching can trigger cruise-control or media-skip commands unexpectedly.
