Fitment nuance per vehicle
BYD Atto 3
The Atto 3's interior is unlike any European rival - guitar-string-style elasticated door-pocket dividers, gym-equipment-motif air vents, and a rotating central touchscreen. Universal door-pocket organisers therefore do not clear the shaped divider strings, and adhesive-mount phone cradles struggle on the textured, curved dashboard. The steeply raked windscreen puts a compact dash cam behind the mirror cleanly, but the DiPilot ADAS system is fussy about anything that intrudes into the front camera's view - keep dash cams and stickers well clear of the sweep zone. No frunk; the charging cable bag lives under the boot floor.
Tesla Model Y
The Model Y has a 117 L frunk (front boot) plus a 117 L underfloor well behind the boot - accessory boot organisers sized to the visible floor completely miss both, so buy Model-Y-specific frunk and well liners to use that hidden capacity. All controls (including glovebox, wipers, mirrors) route through the central touchscreen; steering-wheel accessories with capacitive-blocking materials can trigger 'hands off' warnings.
